Lack of sustainable financing, Poor management skills, Lack of infrastructural support, Cultural factors, Lack of foresight, Illusionary grandeur and misplaced importance/precedence are some of the reasons cited by various researchers as to why very many Technology Startups in Africa are continually washed down the drain of failure.

With the introduction of About us page about.willappsug.com, where we display all our expertise, skills and what we can offer for our clients to have a connect with us, we define that some startups are not ready to submit to such seemingly consensual beliefs and perceptions that “Failure for Any Tech Startup in Africa is inevitable”. Willapps Limited, a Ugandan Tech Startup has so far stood firm and is surely taking steps of a giant by ranking among the most influential Tech companies in the country.

Willapps Limited started as a Tech blog, willappsug.com, as we ushered in year 2014, it was simply run by a bunch of Tech Savvy students seeking to share some of their knowledge and also enjoy the tech blogosphere.

According to Jingo George, one of the company’s founders and also the company’s chief programmer, they realized the need to go professional just a few months down the road hence turning the blog into a dedicated electronic media and publishing entity.

Changing the blog from just a casual thing to a professional electronic media and publishing entity specializing in technology helped us to look at the Technology landscape in Uganda more intimately than we certainly would have. We realized there was a huge void in the locally developed applications on the market and to fill that void, we Established Willapps Limited. And now willappsug.com is the media wing of Willapps Limited.

Alongside its initial electronic media and publishing entity, the company now specializes in Web and mobile application development, online marketing, social media management and other web and mobile marketing related fields, all disciplines in which they have gathered tremendous experience.

Well, doing business with Willapps Limited has been made lot easier. The company launched a highly responsive and heavily interactive business website, about.willappsug.com to help their customers know more about their services, their portfolios and to connect with them for business at a more intimate and well informed level.

“We have not just delivered a company website for Willapps; we have delivered a solution for the Willapps Family. Something that enables you to connect with us so easily, coonect with people across Eat Africa, create ads and so much more as the site is heavily interactive and social media enabled. You can send us a direct mail as easily as you can from our site access or on each of our social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google + or connect with each of our members on their various social media platforms.  This way, you can get to connect with Willapps at a personal and more intimate level,” says Jingo George.
