He recounted that the song was born out of a heated incident involving singer Jose Chameleone and his younger brother, Weasel Manizo.

According to Bushingtone, the incident happened during a night out at Club Rujie, where Chameleone physically assaulted Weasel, leaving him with injuries to his jaw.
In response, the late Mowzey Radio rushed to the studio and recorded Ngenda Mu Maaso, expressing his anger towards Chameleone’s actions.
At the time, there was already growing tension between Chameleone and the duo of Radio & Weasel.
The release of Ngenda Mu Maaso further highlighted their rivalry, cementing its place as one of the duo’s most iconic songs.
Bushingtone’s revelation has brought fresh insight into the making of this classic hit, reminding fans of the deep emotions and real-life events that shaped Uganda’s music industry.
