Dr Diini Emmanuel Kisembo the executive director of Bunyoro Kitara Youth Initiative for Development has applauded the President of the Republic of Uganda, President Museveni for his directives on COVID-19.

Dr. Kisembo, who has shown interest to replace Ambassador of Uganda to Burundi, H.E Matayo Kyaligonza as the NRM national vice chairperson in charge Western Uganda, urged the president to issue further directives.

“I thank the president and ask him to add more measures on movements of people like enforcing district per district quarantine,” he said.

He added: “He should also try and look into the vulnerable people of Uganda; help them get food items that can sustain them for at least 6month.”

According to Dr Kisembo, Ugandans should adopt methods like “I’m safe! My neighbour is not safe”.

“You and I can fight coronavirus. Let’s put hands together to fight coronavirus out of Uganda,” he added.
