In times like these, even the smallest form of help means so much to someone who is being affected in all ways by the deadly Covid 19 pandemic. Ever since the country was put on lockdown due to the virus, many people, organizations especially churches are trying to make ends meet mostly because they have not been working.

The latest celebrity to make a difference in people’s lives in this trying moment is sensational media personality Doreen Nasasira and her fellow workmate Biina Baby. Through Amakula fumigators and cleaning services, the duo have decided to fumigate and clean Ggaba based St Karoli Lwanga Catholic church.

Today Saturday, Doreen and Biina lead a team from Amakula company and cleaned the whole church. In the same charity drive, the two inspiring ladies trained more church leaders and members of Karoli Lwanga on how to keep safe from the virus.

Speaking to journalists at the event, Doreen said

“ I am going to keep using my networks to reach out many Ugandans out there. I know so far we don’t have enough financial support but we shall keep doing our best for the community. Today’s event has clearly shown us that with any small, one can make a difference. I teamed up with Amakula group and workmate Biina baby and decided to fumigate and clean this holy place of God. People can now attend services when they’re sure of safety. I keep encouraging you people to put on masks and sanitize all the time” Doreen said.

On the other side, as fumigation and cleaning was taking place, it was a dream come true for members of St. Karoli Lwanga church to finally meet the sleek voiced Doreen and Bbiina Baby. People were excited and exchanged selfies.

Several celebrities like Bebe Cool, King Saha, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, and John Blaq have donated to different communities in Uganda.
