Jinja based side Bul FC once again had no mercy for Bright Stars as they eliminated them from the Uganda Cup with a 2-1 score to storm into this year’s semi-finals.

In a game played at Mwererwe stadium, home of Bright Stars, three penalties were awarded as Bul fc condemned the Stars to a 2-1 defeat on Monday evening.

Home side Bright Stars were awarded two penalties but only managed to get one into the back of the net through striker Hassan Kikoyo while Captain Bernard Muwanga failed to lead by example as he failed to convert from 12yards.

On the other hand, Bul FC also got a penalty that was converted by Hood Mayanja before Milton Kaliisa scored an 85th minute winner against Fred Kajoba’s side to eliminate them out of the annual competition.

BUL marked two wins in a row against the same opponent after thumping them 3-0 on Friday at Kakindu stadium in the Azam Uganda Premier League.

They now join Lweza fc who sent Police fc packing last week to get into the semi-finals.

Remaining Quarter finals all to kick-off at 3pm:
Kyambogo vs KCC FC 19th April, 2015 at Kyambogo
SCVU vs SC Villa 19th April, 2015 at Namboole
