Jinja based side, Bul fc put a struggling Lweza fc to the sword in a 4-1 thriller at Kakindu stadium on Friday afternoon in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL).
Despite the two sides playing to a 1-1 draw in the first half, the hosts crushed their visitors in the second half of the game in front of Azam TV cameras.
Osama Farouk put Alex Isabirye’s side in the lead as early as 12 minutes into the game but Lweza who weren’t willing to go down without a fight leveled matters through Farouk Musisi who netted from a free-kick at the stroke of half-time.
In the second half, the Kajjansi Boys failed to live to the pressure of the game, conceding thrice in the process with John Walaikaita opening the scoring in the second half to make it 2-1 in the 52nd minute for Bul fc.
Musisi made 3-1 for the hosts when he scored into the back of his own net before Mike Ndera put the last nail into the Kajjansi Boys’ coffin on the day.
The loss piles up more pressure for Joseph Mutyaba who is yet to win a single match since leaving Bul fc while it was Alex Isabirye’s first victory since his exit from URA to join the Jinja based camp.
Bul fc now climb to 11th spot on the 16-team table while Lweza retain their bottom spot without a point from four games.
