Bul FC head tactician Alex Isabirye will host his former bosses of Uganda Revenue Authority FC as his side takes on the Tax Collectors today at Kakindu Stadium in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL).
While the Tax Collectors will be hoping to return to their winning ways following their 2-1 loss to Soana FC at Kavumba last Saturday, the hosts to will also be eager to maintain the winning momentum after shocking title contenders Vipers SC with a 1-0 defeat in Buikwe on Friday last week.
Much as URA lost the game, assistant Coach Livingstone Mbabazi thinks that the team played very well and is confident that they will get the maximum points against Bul.
“We lost the match in Kavumba last Friday though we played very well, we have tried to correct our mistakes and I believe we will get the three points from Jinja based side Bul FC to keep our pursuit for this year’s trophy alive,” reads Mbabazi’s statement on the club’s website.
Kabugo Savio and Ntambi Julius will not feature for the Tax collectors due to injuries.
Meanwhile, coach Isabirye told the media that; “the players know what is at stake. They know how important getting maximum points against URA is for the club at this stage of the season.”
URA who won the first leg by 1-0 is in third place with 39 points from 25 games while Bul FC is 9th with 35 points from a similar number of games.
