Bul FC condemn URA FC to second consecutive defeat

On the back of stunning Vipers SC by 1-0 last week, Jinja based side Bul FC maintained their winning momentum as they condemned Uganda Revenue Authority FC to their second consecutive defeat (1-0) on Tuesday evening.

In a game played at the Kakindu stadium in Jinja in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL), Milton Kalisa scored the only goal of the game from a penalty spot as Alex Isabirye gave his former bosses a taste of their own medicine, given the fact that they defeated him by 1-0 in the first leg.

With only four games left for the Tax Collectors to play, their title hopes are as good as finished since they stand 12 points behind leaders KCCA FC who have played a game less. Meanwhile, the victory elevated Bul FC from 9th to 6th place with 38 points from 26 games on the 16-team log.

Elsewhere, Kawempe based side Bright Stars held travelers from Jinja of Sadolin Paints to a goalless draw at the Champions Stadium in Mwererwe, Matugga.

At Wankulukuku stadium, home side Lweza FC suffered a 3-1 thumping by Soana FC.
