Media personality Katongole Omutongole left a void at Bukedde TV that is yet to be filled. The former Ful Doz show host that airs on Bukedde TV every Wednesday at 11pm reportedly quit the station because of his obligations to a rival media house. However, some reports suggest Katongole was fired over the sex scandal in which he was accused of filing a 14-year old student.
Katongole has since been replaced by a one Mary Flavia Namulindwa, who also hosts another show dubbed “Oluyimba lwo” on the same station.
According to an insider at Bukedde TV, the company policy bars individuals from hosting more than one show at the same station and therefore Mary Flavia is temporarily on Ful Doz as the station management tries to find a permanent replacement for Katongole.
“Bukedde TV management is still sourcing for a permanent replacement for Katongole because they don’t want a presenter to host more than one programme,” the insider revealed.
