Bryan White dedicates mouth watering budget to fight poverty in Arua.

Bryan White Foundation Chief Executive Officer, Bryan White has today announced a week-long tour of Arua district to spread fight against poverty message.Addressing media at his temporary office in Munyonyo, Bryan said together with his foundation team, he will spend one week in Arua district awakening youths from poverty. He announced that on 27th July, Bryan White Foundation will make a grand entry in Arua town to begin the tour.

On 28th July, Bryan White Foundation will officially launch the tour on at Arua Municipal Grounds. On 30th July, the foundation will visit groups at different sub counties in Vurra, Ayivu and Tereigo while on 31st, the foundation will visit a second group of focused people in the above sub counties. These are groups in education, social circles, women and people with disabilities.On 1st August, the team will visit the second group of people in the sub counties of Dadamu, Ajia and Oluko while on the 2nd, the foundation will proceed and attend to focus groups in the above mentioned sub counties.

The foundation will officially close its tour in Arua district. Bryan White has urged the people of Arua to turn up in big numbers to be able to share on the foundation’s cake.He once again said his foundation has nothing to do with politics. “We are a non –governmental group aimed at empowering and equipping the youths with tools to fight poverty and live a better life,” he said.

Mya arrives at Entebbe airport

American RnB singer, Mya has jetted into the country ahead of the Johnnie Walker All Music Safari concert slated for this Saturday at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Real names, Mya Marie Harrison, is an American R&B sweetheart who dominated the airwaves during the 90’s and 00’s, the booming days of R&B and Soul.

“I’m excited to be here! This is my first time in Uganda and I can’t wait to live this moment with my Ugandan fans!” Mya shared on arrival at Entebbe airport in the wee hours of  Thursday morning.

The 40-year-old singer was a household name at the turn of the century with tracks like Case of the Ex Love like Wo, Fallen, Take Me There among others that won hearts of many who still party to her timeless music to this day.

Mya will share the stage with local acts like, Kenneth Mugabi, Myko Ouma, Tonny Trumpet, KazKasozi, Black Roots Unlimited and many more taking guests and party animals on an exciting musical safari starring Reggae vibes, jazz, hip-hop, funk and of course the highlight of the night, RnB.
