Brian Kirumira, the boss, Bryan White Foundation was recently in the news over firing of all the people he was working with in his foundation. Reasons for firing them stemmed from poor time management and failure to follow foundation rules.
After several weeks, today as Bryan White rewarded kick-boxer Titus Tugume for representing the country well and used the same press conference to break his silence and clear the air about firing artistes from the podium aka foundation.
Here is what White said;
‘Every Ugandan is a brother or sister to me. I am re-assessing the people I was working with and when I am done I will bring people I really want to work with. I don’t want people who reveal foundation secrets to outsiders. Why would people release details on what time they eat, how much money they make and such things. It was wrong. They still have my IDs and this means they are still working for me. But I will choose who to remain with. This was our thing, we knew what was going on but some people wanted to spoil it. I didn’t ask anyone to reapply. These artistes need to create impact and I will work with those that create impact.’
