Musician Bruno K is releasing a brand-new song called “Kadama” tomorrow.
Following the attachment that the public has with the word Kadaama and all the ridicule it attracts, the singer has come out to explain why he is releasing a song with the controversial title.
According to Bruno K, the song is more to appreciate Ugandan women who work abroad especially in the Middle East, and are usually referred to as “Kadamas” to insult them.
“Somebody yesterday asked me why am releasing Kadama. These young ladies working in the Middle East have not been appreciated enough by society and many people especially on social media have tried so much to Diss the jobs they do yet they earn more than most of you back here at home,” the Omuwala hitmaker explained.
“From today onwards I want these ladies to be proud and know that they are being loved and appreciated by people like me. I am going to be their mouthpiece and am also going to stand with them in whatever situation they will pass through. To all the proud KADAMA’S, boss ladies, house managers I love you so much and I have alot of respect for you my people.” He added.
Bruno then revealed that the song will be out tomorrow for all to listen and enjoy. “Tomorrow when this song drops I want you to show Uganda and the world nti mulina amanyi Ella muli bamuwendo nyo.”
We will keep you posted.
