Kampala. Brookside Limited on Saturday excited revellers with mega product discounts and free sampling at the first ever Kampala Foodie Street by Kampala Capital City Authority and My Food Network held at Parliamentary Avenue with the aim of showcasing food consumed by Kampala city dwellers ranging from low to high end food outlets and vendors.

Speaking during the event, General Manager Sales, Brookside Limited – Joseph Awino said, ‘Brookside Limited produces a wide range of homogenized and pasteurized dairy products to include Fresh milk, flavoured milk, Long life or UHT milk, powdered milk, Yoghurt, Butter, Ghee and Cream. All these products are quality assured and safe for human consumption, hence the need to showcase them and sample participants at the inaugural Kampala Foodie Street by Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).’

‘We offered mega discounts and free sampling of our new Brookside fruit yoghurt at the inaugural Kampala Foodie Street to allow more consumers enjoy this refreshing and nutritious product, which contains real fruit and does not have preservatives or artificial additives. The combination of Yoghurt and Fruits which are both nutrient-rich foods gives consumers a blend of nutrients to include Vitamin A, B, C, D, E, Calcium and Potassium among others, makes the new Brookside Fruit Yoghurt, a healthy and nutritious choice,’ added Awino.

The children did not miss out on the fun as Brookside Limited entertained them at the Kids Corner through engaging face painting, lots of games, hula-hoop dancing and free goodies.
