Dynamic duo Radio and Weasel have left the general public with no choice but to speculate that the two have broken up. First, the two talented musicians announced on their Facebook page that they had a big announcement to make on Monday this week. Three days down the road and no announcement has been made. A section of the public now believe that the two ‘Amaaso’ singers have broken up but don’t have the b*lls to tell the public yet.
It’s not that we don’t love Radio and Weasel, no, on the contrary, we love these two amazing musicians, but take a close look at how events have been unfolding between them in the last few months and you will come to the conclusion, Radio and Weasel are no more.
In April this year, Weasel recorded a song with Anitah and called it ‘Wine’. The song was produced by Nash Wonder of Monster Studio, Weasel’s counterpart Radio was not on the track. Radio also went ahead and released his own single without Weasel called “Neera” just a few weeks ago. This could be a way of telling Ugandans and fans world over that the two BET 2013 nominees are no longer working as a group.
We will wait for the big announcement, but in the meantime, everything Radio and Weasel are doing leads to the fact that they are not a group anymore. “Guys, we have broken up!”–this is clearly what the two are now telling us.
We will keep you posted.
