Don’t you just love how there is always something to fuss about fashion trends. I mean just when we thought you could only make statements with detail and embellishments, it turns out, you can also make a fashion statement with colour.
Now this is where the yellow colour trend starts to make sense. The yellow hue is a nice way to add glow to your look, without coming off as though you are trying too hard. Whether you decide to accessorize, or go all out, you can never go wrong with this.
For starters, try wearing the colour on either your top or your bottom, and then blend it with a neutral colour like white. Alternatively, you add splash to your look with yellow. If you have on a green dress, then you can add yellow accessories to match.
The other styling tricks to use is colour blocking. You can block your yellow with green, and trust me, you will be turning many a head that day.
Avoid coming off as a clown by keeping the colours in your look minimal when you choose to wear yellow. The shades vary, so have them in varying hues, so you can always create different look, with different yellows.
You can also wear the yellow, on your nail varnish, hats, fascinators, hair pins, and even scarfs.
