Uganda Cranes left footed winger, Brian Majwega has apparently taken a French leave from all his expected footballing camps.
Reports have it that the former KCCA fc star is supposed to have reunited with the Kasasiro Boys after failing to penetrate into the starting lineup of Tanzania Vodacom Premier League club, Azam FC.
It is said that the 2015 CECAFA Kagame Cup Champions had agreed to send Majwega back to KCCA fc on a loan deal but this seems to have failed after the player absconded from duty at both clubs.
While speaking to the media yesterday, KCCA assistant coach ‘Omulangila’ Sam Ssimbwa revealed that they expected the player to join them but they received a letter from Majwega’s agent saying he didn’t like the transfer.
“He came and trained with us on a few occasions but he didn’t come back and he is nowhere to be seen,” he said.
Now, Azam fc have asked Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) not issue the player with an International Transfer Certificate (ITC) to join any other club.
Amid all this mayhem, KCCA CEO David Tamale claims they haven’t received any official notice effecting the player’s loan move.
“We have not heard any communication from them of late although they had initiated negotiations for his loan move last month after CECAFA,” Tamale told airtel football.
