Father Lokodo is not resting, he’s banned the movie; ’50 shades of Grey’ from showing in Ugandan Cinemas tomorrow and on Valentine’s Day.

Word reaching us is that all Cinemas have called off the selling of the movie tickets. The movie was supposed to premiere tomorrow. As it did happen for the case of “Wolf of Wall Street”, the Minister of Ethics and Integrity has asked for more time to review the movie before it can show in Ugandan Cinemas.

The Ugandan Cinemas are currently refunding money to those who had booked in advance.

A Statement from 3D Cinema Magic Reads:

“UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL, THE MOVIE: FIFTY SHADES OF GREY HAS BEEN CANCELLED BY THE UGANDA COMMUNICATIONS COUNCIL.
~(U.C.C)~

PLEASE COLLECT YOUR REFUND IF YOU HAD ALREADY PURCHASED ADVANCED TICKETS.

WE REGRET ALL INCONVENIENCES CAUSED.”

The movie is an adaptation from the book; “50 Shades of Grey” that covers the BSDM obsession and rape fantasies of women. The movie was meant to be watched by those 18 years and above.
