As preparations for Omwana Wa Bandi concert intensify, pressure continues to mount in the Radio and Weasel camp as possible signs of a boycott have started manifesting.
A few days back at their first ticket give away to the fans at Aisha Events, some lucky ticket winners refused to pick up their tickets they had won in the Omwaana Wa Bandi ticket draw.
Some of the few fans that talked to us revealed that for many years they have been staunch supporters of Radio and Weasel but were disappointed when they learnt that the Goodlyfe boys had participated in Tubonga Nawe project late last year.
“I came to realize that Radio and Weasel only care about themselves yet we fans are the ones that have made them what they are today and for that case I won’t attend their concert this time,” said an unidentified angry fan.
However other fans revealed that they were disappointed with the duo’s disorganized stage performance last year at their Best of Radio and Weasel concert and therefore won’t waste their money and time attending this year’s show.
It should be recalled that opposition leaders called for boycott of all musicians that participated in Tubonga Nawe project and we are waiting to see if this will affect Radio and Weasel’s concert happening next week.
