Botswana national football team is expected to land today in the country ahead of their clash with the Cranes in Group D.
The two sides will battle it out on Saturday, 13th June, at Mandela National stadium, Namboole in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers as they kick-off their road to Gabon where the finals will be hosted.
The squad is expected to be led by Botswana’s head coach Peter Butler, a former West Ham and West Bromwich midfielder who is in his debut year.
Peter Butler will short-list his 18 players from the initial 29-man squad that he named ahead of the campaign.
The Zebras are expected to touch down at around 7:05pm aboard South Africa airways. However the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) is yet to communicate a full program for the team; where they will be accommodated and train.
