The Ugandan music industry was joined by a new young entrant this week called Abba, with his debut song called ‘Game over’ that has been viewed on YouTube by many people.
Weeks before Abba released his ‘Game over’ song, Bebe Cool announced that he would support his son Allan Hendrick, to make it in the music industry after he told him “I will love you every day dad,” live on stage as he sang his latest song called ‘Bundu’.

News on our desks indicates that Bobi’s son could also join mainstream music soon. According to reports from the Ghetto gladiator’s camp, Bobi, who has a studio in Kamwokya could let his son start singing soon. Of Bobi’s three children, Solomon Kampala Nyanzi, Shalom Namagembe and Shadraq Shilling Mbogo, only one could join his dad and start singing and analysts predict that Solomon could be the chosen one.
Although he says that he doesn’t like involving his children into the entertainment industry, Bobi could change his mind after Chameleone and Bebe decided to front their sons as the next Ugandan music stars. “When I am at home, I am a father to my children, not a musician with his family. I am their best friend at home,” Bobi recently said.
He insists that his job is to teach them how to survive. “I have this big garden at home and I always ensure we go together to dig and get food, whenever we can. I do that because I want them to learn to live an ordinary life, not as a celebrity’s children,” he said.
“I think he will change his stance with the direction things are taking. He may support his children to join the music industry. But until then, I will be listening to the new young stars,” said one of his Ghetto boys who deflected from Gagamel recently.
Bebe Cool was also not interested in the idea of having his children in the music industry. This changed after his concert at Ggaba recently. Chameleone on the other hand said that he will support his son as long as he wants to sing. “Our family is talented, all my brothers may be in the industry, but we shall add you one new Mayanja, don’t get tired,” he said.
For now we wait a song from Bobi Wine’s son.
We will keep you posted.
