Musician Bobi Wine, who recently dismissed rumours that he had denied his child called Simon, has demanded for an apology. Bobi who says that Safina Mubiru, the mother of the said kid, has hurt so many parties attached to his life with her lies and an apology should be considered.
The ‘Time Bomb’ singer insists that he is not the biological father of the child but welcomes him to his family as if he was his son. “I will only request Safina to apologize to all parties involved for telling a lie and maintaining it for so long that it caused so much pain, embarrassment and confusion. After that, let’s wish each other a happy year,” Bobi said.
Bobi has gone through a lot in the past few days. Before deactivating her Facebook account, Safina who landed from the UK to give Bobi “his child” had caused havoc left right and centre pinning the singer for neglecting his child. “His mother is using the little boy to destabilize my family. I told her to bring him to our home in Magere to mix with other kids but she kept playing hide and seek. This drama has to end. This is the same lady who nearly messed up my wedding,” Bobi said recently.
A few days ago Safina made a shocking confession where she revealed the true identity of her child’s father. She said that Simon was fathered by a music promoter in the UK. This was after Bobi Wine had taken a DNA test with the child. The results showed that the two were not related in any way and he now wants a public apology.
