Bobi Wine has no kind words for NRM MPs who recently resolved to remove the Presidential Age Limit.
On Tuesday, NRM MPs passed a resolution to move a motion in Parliament to amend the Constitution and remove the upper age cap on presidency which is currently at 75 years, allowing President Museveni, 73, to stand again in the 2021 general elections.
In a statement shared on social media, the singer turned MP labelled the NRM MPs traitors who have “sold your conscience for cheap”. He further noted that they have “put your names on the national wall of SHAME”.
