The self proclaimed ghetto president Bobi Wine shocked many when he announced that his forthcoming Akalimu concert would be free for fans to attend. The singer has always been portrayed as a shrewd businessman who would never let a coin slip.

But behind the bad boy image is a compassionate man whose background of struggle in the ghetto has compelled him to come out more times than often to help out the disadvantaged. He has been behind very many charitable causes and his gesture to extend proceeds from his Akalimu concert to Kasese and Bududa victims doesn’t come as a surprise to people who have followed him closely over the years.

News reaching our desk is that the crooner will be giving 500 insecticide treated mosquito nets and 500 sanitary pads to the victims of the tragedies that happened.

A very considerate man I must say. I only wish other artistes could follow suit. Big Up His Excellency!
