It is all jubilation in the Bobi Wine camp as he is set to be sworn in as MP today.
This comes after he emerged victor in the Kyadondo East MP by-election held recently.
The “Bikwase Kyagualnyi” singer, who was standing on an independent ticket, garnered 25, 659 votes to see off competition from other contenders including NRM’s Sitenda Ssebalu William who came second with 4, 566 votes and FDC’s Apollo Katinti in third place with 1, 832 votes.
Meanwhile, preparations are in high gear to make the ceremony a colourful one. According to Bobi Wine, the swearing-in ceremony will be held at 2pm at Parliament and he will then head to Kasangati Saza grounds for general celebrations.
