In a strange turn of events, Ghetto Gladiator Bobi Wine is rooting for his sworn enemy Bebe Cool to win the coveted 2015 MTV Africa music awards Video of the year accolade.
The Time Bomb singer was asked on Saturday what he thinks of Bebe Cool’s nomination. He surprised revelers when he revealed that he is 100 percent behind the ‘Byebyo’ singer.
Bobi Wine didn’t stop at that, he encouraged Ugandans to shower Bebe Cool with votes so that he can bring the award home and put Ugandan music on the African map.
The singer then added that he is supporting Bebe Cool because he wants him to learn that even if he is ill mannered, people can still support him and help him win.
“I am encouraging my fans to vote for Bebe Cool because we want Ugandan music to go far no matter who gets to benefit. He is ill mannered and if Ugandans show him support, maybe he will learn to become well behaved,” Bobi said.
Bebe Cool’s Love You Everyday video is nominated in the same category as Davido Ft Uhuru & DJ Buckz’s The Sound, Prime Circle’s Doors, Riky Rick’s Nafukwa and Seyi Shay Ft Wizkid’s Crazy.
