Bobi Wine

Musician turned politician, Bobi Wine has run to the courts of law seeking redress after Police barred him from holding concerts.

Bobi Wine has been denied permission to hold music shows because he has allegedly turned the concerts into an avenue to extend his political agenda.

This is according to a letter that was addressed to the promoter of Bobi Wine’s  show that was scheduled to take place at Colline Hotel in Mukono this Saturday. Police said that the show can not take place as scheduled because the singer incited the public at his last concert that was held One Love Beach on Sunday and is now under investigation.

We have learnt that the singer has now filed a suit in the High Court and wants Ugx 300 million in compensation and a court order preventing the police from blocking his future shows.
