The Community Policing launch that happened on Wednesday( 26th Feb.) saw Judith Nabakooba, the spokesperson of Uganda police appreciated as an awesome lady. The launch starred the self-proclaimed ghetto president H.E Bobi Wine as the guest artiste. The ghetto president is renowned for outing developmental facts as well as critical songs that fight for the rights of ordinary people, so evident in some of his popular hits like ‘Akaliimu’ among others.
Bobi took Nabakooba’s hand and led her onto the stage as a way of appreciation as he entertained fans at the launch of Community Policing in Kabalagala, told Nabakooba that she is “well built” and has a good figure.
The Police working together with scores of local musicians re-launched their community policing drive in Kabalagala, a city suburb with a notoriety for drug trafficking. A marathon kick started the day’s long activities in the morning, followed by a march that ended at Pearl of Africa International School where the activities culminated with musical performances from several local artistes.
The speeches well punctuated were with full doses of pointed police messages targeted at the audience, calling for greater public involvement in security issues and the need for greater co-operation with the police so as to stamp out crime.
