Musician Bobi Wine is planning a massive blood donation drive at One Love Beach this Saturday(17th October) at the Busabala Fest code-named “Kiggwa Leero mu Paradiso” concert.
Bobi Wine has already approached the Uganda Blood Transfusion Services (Blood Bank Nakasero) for medical services and fortunately they embraced his idea and promised to corporate and offer any required services as this is of great benefit to them.
The blood donation will kick off around 10am with Bobi Wine together and counterpart Nubian Li, being the first to donate blood.
“We always get more than 70,000 fans at One Love Beach, why don’t we use the same platform to sensitize and donate blood to those needy patients?” Bobi Wine explained his move.
Tickets to the concert go for 10K, 20K and 50K.
