Devano, also known as Devan Levy is a Jamaican singer and deejay who was born in Western Kingston, home to several dancehall stars that include Uganda’s favorite Beanie man. Devano was one of the artistes that came in the entourage of Patra for the Club Mega Fest.

Speaking to our team, Devano was so thankful of the reception that he received in Uganda and is happy to hear that this country is the pearl of Africa, in fact  it’s his first time on the continent. Devano is known for his songs like Stronger, In this Jungle among others.

For the time he’s been in Uganda, he’s been able to rub shoulders with a couple of Uganda musicians and was able to appreciate a few that included Vampino. In a closed talk however Devano informed us that Bobi Wine’s music together with his Jamaican counterpart is not anywhere in Jamaica rubbishing rumors that his song with Mr. G was once topping charts back in Kingston.

“We don’t know their music, we here a little of Mr. G but he’s not close to the cream Jamaican dance hall artists,” said Devano.
