Bobi Wine mourns fallen opposition leader

Musician Bobi Wine has joined scores of sympathizers mourning fallen opposition leader, Hon. Mathias Nsubuga.

The “Time Bomb” singer extended his condolences via social media where he posted: “It is so sad to know that we have lost HON.MATHIAS NSUBUGA,The Secretary General of the Democratic Party. My thoughts go to his family and friends,The DP and the country at large. Such an adorable statesman,may his soul Rest In Peace.”

The secretary general of the Democratic Party (DP) and former member of parliament for Bukoto South, Mathias Nsubuga reportedly passed away on Sunday evening. Mathias is said to have passed away at Case Clinic where he had been admitted after suffering a stroke a few days back.

According to a statement released on Saturday by his party, Nsubuga had suffered what it called a “massive stroke” at Mukono Bookshop in Kampala on Friday.

By the time of the statement’s release, Nsubuga was admitted at Case Clinic where he was reportedly incapable of talking and his right lateral completely paralyzed.
