Local musicians Bobi Wine and Maro have been nominated for an Oscar.

The singers are nominated in the Honesty Oscars for Best Activism Anthem for their single dubbed “Sema”,  a song recorded to create awareness about Viva con Agua’s water and sanitation projects.

Sema is a collaboration between Uganda’s Maro & Bobi Wine, Kenya’s Octopizzo, Switzerland’s Knackeboul, and Germany’s Megaloh & Ghanaian Stallion.
