Friday night saw Kampala party animals get their dancing shoes on to go to the long awaited grand reopening of once best night spots in the city called De Posh bar. Ghetto Gladiator, Bobi Wine, was one of the artistes lined up to perform at the re-opening ceremony, when he got on stage, he didn’t waste time but started entertaining his fans immediately.
But things changed as the show went on, as he decided to launch his political campaigns at the occasion. The singer who recently announced that he will be standing for the MP position of Kyadondo East then asked fans not to forget him when the time for voting comes. “My dear fans, friends and voters, I am asking you not to forget me when the time for elections comes. I am standing for Member of Parliament. Vote Bobi Kyagulanyi,” he said before receiving a thunderous cheer from fans.
Bobi Wine who has for long been against the bad things politicians do will join fellow artistes like Judith Babirye and Kato Lubwama if he is elected. We hope he changes things.
