Musician turned politician, Bobi Wine has officially kicked off his parliamentary duties.
The “Time Bomb” singer who was recently sworn in as the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament has today had his first day in parliament on official business.
Following his swearing in, he was appointed to the Presidential Affairs Committee which is tasked with assessing the functionality of the Office of the President.

The singer, who was standing on an independent ticket, had a landslide victory in the Kyadondo East by-election. He garnered 25, 659 votes to see off competition from other contenders including NRM’s Sitenda Ssebalu William who came second with 4, 566 votes and FDC’s Apollo Katinti in third place with 1, 832 votes.
