Bobi Wine despite accumulating substantial wealth over the years has not distanced himself from the local populace. He has continually tried to positively impact the environment in which he lives both through his music and a host of other initiatives.
Born in the ghettos of Kamwokya, he can so well relate with what an average man goes through on the daily in effort to better his life. With this at the back of his mind, he tries as much as possible to inspire as many youth to pursue their dreams , their different backgrounds notwithstanding.
The self proclaimed ghetto president, Bobi Wine has now been selected to work with Twaweza, a citizen-centred initiative to promote education.

“We are delighted to be able to work with Bobi Wine to promote citizen involvement in Education,” said Rakesh Rajani, the head of Twaweza.
