Musician Bobi Wine was invited to the launch of Makerere University Performing Arts and Film Alumni Association on Thursday.
The Situka singer who was accompanied by his brother Eddy Yawe used the opportunity to share a light moment with some of the top authorities at MUK and his former lectures who included the Vice Chancellor Dumba Ssentamu, Professor Patrick Mangeni, Dr Ezra Suruma, Professor Tamusuuza, and Dr.Charles Mulekwa.
Bobi shared the news on social media where he posted:
“Today was another special day. We launched the Makerere University Performing Arts and Film Alumni Association. At our sweet old department, we hosted the highest authorities in the University and I was really impressed hearing them talk about better structures to accommodate the school that has produced very many outstanding Ugandans. It was so nice meeting my former lecturers and classmates. It’s been 13 years since I graduated but felt like only yesterday. When I left. Oh how the years go by.”
It should be noted that the FireBase boss graduated from MUK with a Bachelor Degree in Music, Dance and Drama.
