Musician Bobi Wine has partnered with Bugingo and former Hostel series actress Hellen Lukoma in a new movie.
Reports indicate that Twaweza Uganda, a local NGO, was looking for a musician who can take up a movie role and help impart social change in society, Bobi Wine’s name popped up and he landed the deal.
Bobi will be working with comedian Bugingo Hannington aka Bujju. The movie is called Situka and it is directed by Kwezi Kaganda. The plot of the movie is directed at empowering the youth so that they can have the urge to demand for social rights and change.
Several other actors that will work along with Bobi Wine include; Hellen Lukoma, Simon Kalema, Michael Wawuyo and Emma Kakai among others.
The movie that will be ready in October is being filmed at a location in Jinja.
