Following reports that Bebe Cool had been dropped as Uganda Cranes ambassador, FUFA has come out to clear the air. The reports claim that he had been replaced with his arch-rival Bobi Wine after he failed to meet the set targets.
Its further alleged that Bebe Cool has lost local appeal hence the need to find a replacement who would be pivotal in drawing massive local support for the team in their different qualification campaigns.
However, FUFA insists that Bebe Cool is still the official Uganda Cranes ambassador contrary to reports making rounds.
“Bebe Cool is still Uganda Cranes Ambassador. We love you Bebe Cool,” reads a post on the FUFA Facebook page.
It should be noted that Bebe Cool was named the Uganda Cranes ambassador in September 2014 following a poll among all Uganda Cranes team members that was in his favour.
