Bobi Wine seems to have finally found interest in local awards again as he will be gracing the Hipipo Music Awards ceremony for the first time.
The self-proclaimed Ghetto President must have thought twice following the way his nemesis Bebe Cool has kept scooping all the local awards from him and has now decided to attended the HMAs since they are based on fans choice.
Bobi once revealed why he had lost in interest in local awards citing an example of PAM awards saying that he was not contented with the way they were conducted and still the organizers had failed to get a proper venue of hosting these awards before their eventual collapse.
Meanwhile, Bobi Wine is nominated for Artiste of the Year where he will battle with his arch enemy Bebe Cool for the top accolade. He is also nominated for Best Male Artiste, Best Reggae song and Best Afrobeat song.
The award ceremony will take place this Saturday(7th Feb.) at Wonder World in Kansanga.
