Musician Bobi Wine who came under fire recently for kissing and ‘having sex’ with Hellen Lukoma in a movie says that he didn’t do it.
According to Bobi, he sees the movie and all the scenes in it, including the sex scenes as an opportunity to follow his edutainment policy and teach Ugandans through entertainment.
“My calling is to educate and sensitize my people through the talents that God gave me. Edutainment will be my humble contribution to this beautiful nation. I have successfully done it through music and I hope to do the same through film,” he said.
Meanwhile his co-star Hellen Lukoma formerly known for her role in The Hostel Series said that she has alot of respect for Bobi as a married man to have sex with him.
As a way of explaining her way out of the ‘s3x scene’ Hellen was quick to note that she was merely acting. She also noted that she has never had sex with Bobi because he is a married man that she respects. “Guys, don’t judge me because this was merely a scene in the movie, we didn’t do it,” she said.
Directed by Fun Factory stars Hannington Bugingo and Kwezi Kaganda, the movie features Bobi Wine, Hellen Lukoma, Michael Wawuyo, Simon Kalema, and Frobisher Lwanga. Mustaque Abdullah is the director of photography.
Situka which premiered last weekend at National Theatre is based on day-to-day events in Uganda. Bobi Wine was praised by one of the directors of the phenomenal performance in the movie.
