Bobi Wine has collected millions of shillings in his campaign to raise money for an underprivileged boy’s heart surgery. This follows a car wash organised by the “Time Bomb” singer over the weekend at Panamera bar.
In a bid to raise Ugx 20M needed for the heart surgery of one-year-old baby Erimia Muwonge, Bobi spearheaded a car wash drive that saw him collect over Ugx 6 million in cash.
In his appreciation message after the car wash, he noted that he will do all in his power to make sure the heart surgery is carried out successfully.
He said: “I want to say thank you to everybody who turned up for the #SaveElimiaMuwonge car wash at Panamera. Special thanks to those who donated cash money (Over six million in cash donations alone). We shall keep the campaign going until the boy is operated on. “
