After the successful #SaveCarol campaign, the spirit of charity and solidarity seems to have gained momentum among Ugandans.
Singer Bobi Wine who has struck a special cord with the common Ugandan, has embarked on a campaign to help another soul. The singer was approached by the parents of one Muwonge, suffering from a cardiac complication that requires Ugx 20M for surgery.
He posted on Facebook urging people to show some love and save a life.
This little boy is called Elimia Muwonge, he is 1 year and two months. He has a hole in the heart and needs urgent surgery. The doctors at Mulago Heart Institute say it will cost about 20million.
