Musician Bobi Wine has come out to apologize to his wife Barbie Itungo and his family after a mix up involving a lady called Safina who claims to have birthed a child with Bobi Wine.
The apology was timely, it came at a time when Barbie was very dissatisfied with Bobi Wine’s cheating. Although she remained strong for her family and hubby following the revelation that he had cheated on her with a UK based fan and fathered a kid with her, Barbie was waiting for the moment when the hubby would explain himself and apologize for the family hubbub.
Bobi apologized for getting in touch with Safina as soon as she landed in the country with the child. “Barbie got to know that he was talking to her when she had landed in the country. Safina sent emissaries to Bobi but they were intercepted by the wife and she demanded an apology. It is at this point that he broke the news to her, came clean and asked to be forgiven,” a source told us.
Bobi and Safina met in the UK. The Ghetto gladiator had gone to the Queens land for a show. Safina acted like a crazy fan who was all over the singer and promised to give him anything that he wanted. According to the source, “Bobi Wine like any man, gave her what she wanted.”
According to Bobi, the son is not his. “His mother is using the little boy to destabilize my family. I told her to bring him to our home in Magere to mix with other kids but she kept playing hide and seek. This drama has to end. This is the same lady who nearly messed up my wedding,” Bobi said.
The singer who came out to clear the air about the whole Safina saga, said that he is ready to fight anyone who threatens his family since he is in love with his wife Barbie and will not allow anyone to break them. Bobi hopes that things get back to normal again. “It has never been my style putting my personal/family matters in the media and it’s not going to start now. I believe not everything is for media attention, especially where there are young innocent souls involved,” he said.
Safina says that she will not give up the rights of her child. “I met Bobi in the UK and no one was there to know what we agreed upon. What goes on in the lives of two people is their secret,” she said.
Safina travelled to Uganda after Bobi was denied a visa to visit the country following his anti-gay sentiments last year.
