When they set up to shoot ‘Situka’, a new movie which is an inspirational story about politics and social life, the two stars didn’t know that one scene would bring them a lot of trouble.
In the movie, Bobi Wine and Hellen Lukoma are seen having sex in one of the scenes. They start with a kiss and later dive into the bed before a new scene is ushered in. After watching the scene, several fans of the former Hostel TV series star started judging her.
As a way of explaining her way out of the ‘immoral scene’ Hellen was quick to note that she was merely acting. She also noted that she has never had sex with Bobi because he is a married man that she respects. “Guys, don’t judge me because this was merely a scene in the movie, we didn’t do it,” she said.
We hope Barbie is not grilling Bobi for his part in the scene.
Directed by Fun Factory stars Hannington Bugingo and Kwezi Kaganda, the movie features Bobi Wine, Hellen Lukoma, Michael Wawuyo, Simon Kalema, and Frobisher Lwanga. Mustaque Abdullah is the director of photography.
Situka which premiered last weekend at National Theatre is based on day-to-day events in Uganda. Bobi Wine was praised by one of the directors of the phenomenal performance in the movie.
