Music group, Blu 3 will be sharing their truth and music with fans in an online show slated for this Sunday. The celebrated girl group will be performing on Tusker Malt Conversessions where they are expected to deliver an intimate, soul-stirring performance, coupled with revealing ‘conversessions’ that fans have long awaited.
As the countdown to Sunday begins, a newly released rehearsal video has only heightened anticipation. The promo video captures Lilian Mbabazi, Jackie Chandiru, and Cindy Sanyu in their creative element, perfecting their harmonies and refining their performance for the episode.
In the video, Lilian declares, “Blu 3 is all about resilience, talent, voices, and beauty.” Cindy follows up, emphasizing the group’s commitment saying, “We put so much into (our music) so that you can feel it, and you can see it in our creative process, I think we try and listen to each other a lot.” Closing the clip with an air of finality and confidence, Jackie affirms, “Expect Blu 3 to be Blu 3, and there will not be any other group.”
The trio became a household name, setting the standard for girl groups in Ugandan. Their break-up over a decade ago left fans with countless unanswered questions, fuelling speculation and rumours.
With their return to the spotlight, the Tusker Malt Conversessions stage presents the perfect opportunity to address the whispers, reminisce on their journey, and reconnect with their audience in a deeply personal way.
