Blankets and Wine Kampala will return in April, kicking off the 2017 edition.
The event, which is now in its 16th edition, is a picnic style music festival that attracts the highbrow of Kampala for a day of fun and music.
The quarterly event is designed to showcase outstanding musicians in the emerging genres of afro-based music.
The event has in the past been headlined by some of the top acts from across the continent including; South Africa’s Mafikizolo & Mi Casa, Kenya’s Sauti Sol, Tanzania’s Alikiba and Zimbabwe’s Oliver Mtukudzi among others.
The first edition of Blankets and Wine 2017 will take place on Sunday, 30th April at their new home at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
