Word has been going around that Blankets & Wine seemed to have vanished off the calendar, that there was no Blankets & Wine this quarter. Its ardent choir of followers slapped themselves hard in the face in pity, jabbering about how their life is so fickle.
Luckily, for them, Blankets & Wine is back. They can unclench their fists and breath normally. For the folks who love the blankets (even when the sun is scolding) and wine (even when they are sipping on Tusker Malt Lager) and beautiful ladies (even when they have phobia for girls) must be on cloud nine, jumping in unbridled delight upon the news.
The picnic-like social event is dated Sunday, 3rd May at their usual home, Uganda Museum. This time, the prices were slashed; unlike the latter where folks had to pay through the nose with a hefty shs70,000. Entrance fee will be shs50,000.
The artistes? Well, the organizers seem to be still tight-lipped. However, we might be in for some surprises. Eyes on the ground now!
