Blankets and Wine is here once again this Sunday and for many, it could be their first time at this event. Due to popular demand, we’ve decided to do a quick guide focused purely on first timers.
1. Clothes
For ladies, you can always have a safe bet on print aka african fabric aka kitenge. You can play with it all ways you like, from high waisted kitenge pants, kitenge shots, kitenge tops with an exposed back.
Dudes, look around the tropical style to it, play with those jeans, do some khaki shorts and chinos. Keep it between a casual summer picnic.
2. Vibe
You create your own vibe. Although there will be performers on stage, it still comes down to what you make your Blankets and Wine to be. This is not the time to try to impress those around you. You will hate Blankets. Get your cool crew, the crew you connect with, the crew that can groove. Take over a part in this grass field, gazette it and make it the party to remember. Be friendly, dudes those strokes could land you your next girlfriend, ladies even when you’re rejecting a man, do it with a smile.
3. Drinks and Food
Did we tell you that you carry your own drinks? Yes you could bring your wines as long as they are unopened. Note that. Note that.
4. Tents
There are also different tents at the venue as different brands try to showcase their own experience. But just to give you a hint, you won’t go wrong around the alcohol brand tents. That’s where the experience is…
5. Friends
Be certain you’re gonna bump into old friends, exs, cousins. This is not the time to resurrect grudges. Exchange a quick greeting and move on.
That said, it is gonna be a lit Blankets and Wine. Shekinah and King Saha are a must watch…
