It was another night of pomp as the team from BigEye.ug graced the inaugural Rising Star Awards. The team that was in high spirits and dressed to the nines could not wait to add another accolade to their cabinet. When the emcee of the evening called on producer Nash Wonder to announce the Most Informative and Best Entertainment site, the atmosphere felt tense, but it was not long before we broke out in excitement as BigEye.ug had been crowned winner.
Ian Ortega, the managing editor BigEye.ug had this to say on winning the award:
“WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW We did it once again. BigEye.ug has been voted The Most Informative and Best Entertainment site in the Rising Star Awards for 2014.
You couldn’t have given us a better gift for this year. Thanks for believing in us. When I joined my brothers to begin BigEye.ug I was a mere 19 years old. Just someone out to try out something, after failing at a couple of businesses.
And to us, there’s more to the award than just that moment, the award pushes us to be better, to do our very best, and to never forget that we exist to make your life more entertaining than we find it.
