Ugandan rapper Big Tril has opened up about the fleeting nature of internet fame, noting that while going viral may seem like a major achievement, maintaining that level of attention and success is where the real challenge lies.

Speaking during a recent interview alongside fellow rapper Mun G, Big Tril highlighted how quickly public interest shifts in the digital age.

“The attention span of people, especially on the internet, is small. You might get a viral song, but maintaining the stardom is the hard part,” he said.

Big Tril, best known for his breakout hit “Parte After Parte,” has experienced the ups and downs of internet virality firsthand.

Mun G echoed his sentiments, pointing out how the music industry has evolved significantly over the last few years.

“The rules that applied five years ago cannot be the same rules that apply now,” Mun G said. “The internet moves on its own. Right now, all you need is to be big in your country. Your country alone has enough power to push you international.”

Both artists emphasized the importance of adaptability and consistency for anyone looking to survive in today’s fast-paced entertainment landscape.
