Big League sides Odupakara, Entebbe FC shock SC Villa and Lweza FC respectively

Sunday, 24th April 2016 is a day 16-time league record champions and 9-time Uganda Cup winners SC Villa will want to forget quickly after being eliminated by Big League side Oduparaka FC 4-3 on penalties.

After a goalless draw in normal time, the two sides went into a penalty shootout that saw the northern Uganda traveling side eject the reigning champions at the round of 16.

Odupakara will now play Busia Fisheries in the Quarter finals at GreenLight Stadium in Arua on a date that will soon be communicated.

Elsewhere, another Big League side Entebbe FC knockedĀ out Lweza FC in an Entebbe-road derby in the Uganda Cup.

The two sides played a two-all draw (2-2) in normal time before a shootout that ended 9-8 in favour of Entebbe FC who now qualified for the 2016 semifinals.
